A plot of land was purchased in 1990 at Mundur, with the specific purpose of building an Ashram in the diocese of Palakkad. The bishop’s permission for the Ashram at Mundur was received on 05th of December 1990. A modest building was built on the new site under the guidance of Br. Gerard Kallidukil. It was blessed by Mar Joseph Irumpan, the Bishop of Palakkad, on 5th of February, 1991. The Ashram was renewed under the guidance of Br. Davis Thottapilly and it was blessed in 2007. Later, in order to solve the problem of the scarcity of water, another plot of land was bought and dug a well in it which resolved the issue.
