The 06^th decision of Provincial Chapter conducted in 2009 is to have a new presence in the eparchy of Palakkad. A land of 4.5 acres was donated to us on 23^rd of February 2011, by Mr. C.K. Jose Chirayath, at Vandazhi. Bishop’s permission for building the Ashram in the vicinity of Chittady parish church at Vandazhi, was received on 08^th of September 2012. A fraternity at San Pio Ashram, was formed in a temporary residence built on the plot. It was blessed on 28^th of February 2013 by Br. Raphie Paliakkara, the Minister Provincial. The Rubber trees were planted under the guidance of Br. Pauly Madassery and the sprinklers to water the garden were installed by Br. Antony Thaliyath. Br. Jomesh Arangassery, the brother-in-charge of the house and Br. Shyjo Manjaly, Brother-in-charge of construction was appointed. The construction of the Ashram and the Church were completed and blessed on 12^th of April 2016 by Mar Jacob Manathodath, the Bishop of the eparchy of Palakkad.
