The plot of land consisting of 80 cents in Perumbavoor Town, close to Sanjoe Hospital was donated free of cost for the construction of Shanti Ashram by Rev. Sr. Infant Therese FCC, then Provincial Superior of Sacred Heart Ernakulam Province of Franciscan Clarist Congregation in 02nd December 1989. It was blessed by Most Rev. Br. John Corriveau, our Minister General, on 12th of May, 1996. The formal permission for the Ashram from the Eparchial Curia was received on 5th of August 1996.
